Some names may be more familiar but I found the meaning or origin or some other aspect of the name made it worthy of inclusion here. You may love some of the names, you may hate some, but hopefully you enjoy learning about all of them.

A Collection of Names from 2017

I found these names in data collected by the Social Security Administration for the year 2017.


GIRLS

Anevay - 28 girls were named this in 2017. I wonder if this is a version of the double name Anna Fay?

Bruchy - 29 girls were named this in 2017

Jaelani - 30 girls were named this in 2017

Lielle - 31 girls were named this in 2017

Mariely - 32 girls were named this in 2017


BOYS

Delvin - 36 boys were named this in 2017

Eligh - 35 boys were named this in 2017. Not sure, but I think this might be a creative spelling of Eli.

Jafet - 37 boys were named this in 2017

Lipa - 33 boys were named this in 2017

Md - 34 boys were named this in 2017. I'm not sure if this like naming your child "doctor" or "Maryland" or just the initials MD with no further meaning behind them.
