In 2014 I featured a series of blog posts introducing you to 2,014 names. For the most part they were names that were brand new to me as well. Some names may be more familiar but I found the meaning or origin or some other aspect of the name made it worthy of inclusion here. Wilda - I'm wondering if it is pronounced with a short i or a long i sound and if the w is said as a w or as a v.




BOYS


Heartless - There were actually 2 men I found in genealogy research with the first name Heartless. I am trying to figure out 'why' this was used as a name. Do you know? Please let me in on the secret! I'm very curious.
