Robert Frost's poem "A Cliff Dwelling" reminds me of the people who must have lived here "Oh years ago--ten thousand years" and enjoyed the beauty and safety of a cliff. A place "to rest from his besetting fears". Welcome to mine.
In 2014 I featured a series of blog posts introducing you to 2,014 names. For the most part they were names that were brand new to me as well. Some names may be more familiar but I found the meaning or origin or some other aspect of the name made it worthy of inclusion here. You may love some of the names, you may hate some, but hopefully you enjoy learning about all of them.

842 Names So Far!
The 6 names for today will bring us to 848 new names learned this year. That leaves 1166 names still to learn this year, and we are starting to move through the year a bit more quickly, it seems. I'm still quite behind on researching the names and I've probably started to fall behind a bit in introducing them to you. I'll try to do better! (especially on researching the names) How many of the names with meanings or origin or some other information have you read or learned so far?
