Robert Frost's poem "A Cliff Dwelling" reminds me of the people who must have lived here "Oh years ago--ten thousand years" and enjoyed the beauty and safety of a cliff. A place "to rest from his besetting fears". Welcome to mine.
In 2014 I featured a series of blog posts introducing you to 2,014 names. For the most part they were names that were brand new to me as well. Some names may be more familiar but I found the meaning or origin or some other aspect of the name made it worthy of inclusion here. You may love some of the names, you may hate some, but hopefully you enjoy learning about all of them.

Chamomile Tea
Just wanted to sing the praises of my favorite herbal tea. I find it so soothing. And very yummy, but then I put in about 5 spoonfuls of sugar. What's your favorite tea?

Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. I love so many things about the way he paints. The curvy lines and thick black outlines and bright colors and absence of intricate detail or the need to make it feel realistic make his art seem childlike, yet they convey such powerful emotions and beautiful interpretations of life.
If you could only hang one Van Gogh in your house, which would it be?

My name list
So last night, to de-stress and renew myself, I chose to rearrange my boy's name list. Not that I have any need for these names right now, it's just fun to put in order how much I like certain names. So I will just give you my top 10 (I'm still working on it and am up to 105 and just have maybe 10-15 more to figure out since I'm cutting several). Tell me which ones you like and which ones you don't. I tend to mostly like traditional boy names (I do have some old-fashioned, unusual, dated, and even a couple trendy names farther down on my list)
1-James
2-Matthew
3-Michael
4-Aaron
5-Seth
6-Peter
7-Phillip
8-Richard
9-Edward (and no, this is not because of Twilight, I've liked it for a long time)
10-William

Happy New Year!
I hope everybody had a good new year's eve.
I came up with several new resolutions for this year. I'll just share one. Feel free to post your New Year's resolutions also.
Give up my tv habit.
